Hey all. I hope you all had a good Zendikar prerelease weekend opening your desired fetchlands, Planeswalkers and other good cards. I just felt bad because Saturday was also the day that the tropical storm Ondoy ravaged our nation’s capital Manila and the nearby provinces. Casualties and death are still increasing as of the moment and I hope those people affected get enough help to return their lives to normal. Read More→

Post Zendikar Decks: Vampires

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Hey all. This is my third take on the possible decks in post Zendikar Standard metagame. Previously I’ve discussed about the Ally class in Zendikar and for this post we will go with the deck that may possibly give rise to Black to be a Tier 1 deck in Standard. I’m referring to the Mono black Vampires deck.

To recall, Magic 2010 core set has given us a hint on the Vampire tribe with Vampire Aristocrat and the mythic rare Vampire Nocturnus. Let us see what Zendikar vampires we could use for the deck. (Refer to the Zendikar spoilers for card info.) Read More→

Happy Friday all. Its been a while since my last quality post because of a messed mind set. Maybe its an effect of the awesomeness of card previews this week which confused me on which one to write first. Anyway, I better do this first before I loss the momentum.

The next prediction I will make on the post Zendikar decks in Standard would be the new breed of a tribe deck or rather a creature sub class. Yes, I’m talking about Zendikar’s Ally creatures. Since Zendikar’s theme focused on treasures, quests, and traps, these class of citizens in Zendikar adds up as an ally or allies to help in your adventures and achieving them.  Lets take a look at a few Ally class creatures spoiled so far. Manny Pacquiao Action Figures

Posted by: | Comments (7)

Now this is something for those action figure collectors or for someone who wants a unique gift for Christmas. Lol.

This is certainly a unique action figure, and a must-have for any Manny Pacquiao fans. As you can see, it comes with a range of attachable accessories. This is, surely, one of the most life-like boxing models available!

If you’re looking for unusual gift ideas, then this is ideal. Children will no doubt enjoy playing with this great model, whilst adults might use this figure as an desk ornament to cheer them on whilst they play online games at sites like poker.dk. Whoever you’re buying for, this uncanny action figure is sure to bring a smile to their face.

Found at Loosecollector Customs.

Post Zendikar Decks: Naya Aggro

Posted by: | Comments (0)

The Standard rotation is drawing near. We will be saying goodbye to our Lorwyn tribe buddies, specifically the aggressive kithkins, the gentle Treefolks, the fiery Elementals, the Elves and the ever hated tribe that ruled most of the Standard, the Faeries. At this time, I’m guessing you are already predicting and preparing for the decks after the rotation. Most will probably stick with the decks from the Shards block or try the mono color theme Zendikar offers. Read More→

Unavoidable Laws

Posted by: | Comments (0)

1. Law of Mechanical Repair: After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch or you will have to pee.

2. Law of the Workshop: Any tool, when dropped, will roll to the least accessible corner.

3. Law of probability: The probability of ‘being watched’ is directly proportional to the stupidity of your act.

4. Law of the Telephone: When you dial a wrong number, you never get a busy signal.

5. Law of the Alibi: If you tell the boss you were late for work because you had a flat tire, the very next morning or soon thereafter, you will have a flat tire.

6. Variation Law: If you change lines (or traffic lanes), the one you were in will start to move faster than the one you are in now. (Happens every time).

7. Bath Theorem: When the body is fully immersed in water or in the shower, the telephone rings.

8. Law of Close Encounters: The probability of meeting someone you know increases when you are with someone you do not want to be seen with.

9. Law of the Result: When you try to prove to someone that a machine won’t work, it will.

10. Law of Biomechanics: The severity of the itch is inversely proportional to the reach.

11. Theater Rule: At any event, the people whose seats are furthest from the aisle arrive last.

12. Law of Coffee: As soon as you sit down to a cup of hot coffee, your boss will ask you to do something, which will last until the coffee is cold.

13. Murphy’s Law of Lockers: If there are only two people in a locker room, they will have adjacent lockers.

14. Law of Dirty Rugs/Carpets: The chances of an open-faced jelly sandwich of landing face down on a floor covering are directly correlated to the newness, color and cost of the carpet/rug.

15. Law of Location: No matter where you go, there you are.

16. Law of Logical Argument: Anything is possible if you don’t know what you are talking about.

17. Brown’s Law: If the shoe fits, it’s ugly.

18. Oliver’s Law: A closed mouth gathers no feet.

19. Wilson’s Law: As soon as you find a product that you really like, they will stop making it.
