Here is a short guide on adding the Khans of Tarkir set expansion in your Magic Workstation software. It is the usual routine that we update the program on every newly released set so as we can playtest the new cards for free or test the decks in online communities like the Magic League.

Here are the steps:

1. Download the text file on this link below.

2. Open MWS, and go to Tools > Analyze/Add/Remove Sets > Add New Edition
3. Put “Khans of Tarkir” in Edition Name field & put “KTK” in Edition Key field.
4. Select “Get data from text spoiler”. DON’T select “Mark cards as custom created” (particularly important if you have the free unregistered version)
5. Click on the folder icon in “Path to spoiler”, search the txt file you downloaded in the first step and then select it.
6. Click “Next page” and then click “Add edition”.
7. Wait for the program to process the adding of the set and then after it is done, click on Save though make sure you have selected a card on the list on the left to indicate that it will save the Master Base.
