The Current Top MTG Players in the 2009 Season

I’ve stumbled on zesty’s post at the Rumor Mill regarding the current top ranking Magic players in this 2009 season. To recall, we had already four Grand Prix’s and one Pro-Tour which is Pro-Tour Kyoto, and this weekend we will be having another Grand Prix at Singapore.
Gabriel Nassif had a good start this year with LSV catching up.
Here are the top 3 Magic: the Gathering players based on the Magic Top 20 rank posted at TwinFu.com.
1. Gabriel Nassif - Had won PT Kyoto and the recent GP Chicago. He currently have 35 Pro points and a total winnings of $43,500.
2. Luis Scott-Vargas - The winner of PT Berlin last year and still smoking hot in this year’s season. He had won Grand Prix Los Angeles and a few top finishes including second place at PT Kyoto. Luis is at 34 Pro points, just one point short of Nassif and a total winnings of $24,100.
3. Shuuhei Nakamura - The reigning Player of the Year is still going strong in this season. His top finish is just a third place in Rotterdam but he’s still in the race with the current Pro Points of 17 and a total winnings of $4,900.
