Earthquake Slows RP Internet Connection

The recent slowdown in internet connection here in the country may have been caused by the quake that hit Japan yesterday. As quoted from this report, “While the exact cause is still to be confirmed, it is likely that the Japan earthquake which occurred yesterday, August 11, 2009 is the reason for the international cable faults.” The rest of the article here.

    Yes, I noticed that too. Somebody told me that it’ll be fixed around the 20th. I also experienced several errors accessing websites.

    ang pldt and smart daw ga kuha internet from singapore using motorola.. ang globe and bayan from taiwan using siemens.. daw globe gd ya grabe igu subong since malapit taiwan and japan.

    @edy: so its favorable na magkuha sbng Smartbro ky less ang damage haha. Notice ko man gne nga nagbalik na sa dati ang connection speed ka Smartbro ko sa bhaus hehe.
