Throne of Eldraine has opened a new deck arcthetype in
the Standard format in the form of Adventure decks. We previously introduced a four-color build with Lucky Clover card advantage, though for today’s deck feature is more on the priority of the deck’s consistency. The colors are Green and White and the set has offered a lot of card options for Adventure creatures. These are then backed up by hard-hitters like Questing and Lovestruck Beast and
team-pump with Venerated Loxodon.

Here below is the decklist played by Christian Hauck at Mythic Championship V.

The deck brews keep on coming on the Core Set 20202
Standard, and for today we have an attempt to build the right Mono Black
Midrange deck with components from the new set. The M20 card that prompted me of a Mono Color list was Dread Presence. This four-drop 3/3 creature just does the two major things needed in a deck: card advantage and spot removal.

I have found a decklist before that is mainly focused on the Control plan but I have thought that a midrange route of the build is also possible.

Creatures
3 Cavalier of Night
4 Dread Shade
4 Dread Presence
2 Dusk Legion Zealot
4 Kitesail Freebooter
2 Ravenous Chupacabra
4 Yarok’s Fenlurker

Spells
1 Arguel’s Blood Fast
3 Cast Down
2 Disfigure
1 Murder
1 The Elderspell
3 Vraska’s Contempt
2 Liliana, Dreadhorde General

Lands
23 Swamp
1 Cabal Stronghold

My creature lineup are mostly disruptive in both
opponents’ hand and board. The Freebooters are for checking information on what
they have to play at the moment while getting the right card whereas the
Fenlurkers discards them and serves as mana dump for pumped damage in the late
game. The Cavalier is your late fatty pseudo-finisher that which you can pitch
your zealots or chupacabra to kill off opponents’ relevant creature.

The number of chosen spells are for specific functions on
certain situations. Of course, Liliana is your top curve which can also provide
additional body via Zombie tokens and gives your creatures bonus draw when
destroyed.

Aside from the Cavalier, there are no recurrence spell in
the main deck at the moment but we can have it as sideboard card against
control matchups. I forgot the card name but there is that one that returns a
creature or planeswalker from your graveyard to your hand.

Let me know what you think of this list. Is this Standard viable or not? Comment them on the box below.
