I did a second run of the Temur Dragons deck last weekend and still, I am satisfied with the results. The deck went 2-2 from the initial 2-0 record last Friday’s FNM losing to a resolved Ugin planeswalker from Naya Ramp and a curved Abzan aggro on the third game.

I did notice that the deck can still ran out of threats even with the Kiora, Sarkhan and Dragonlord Ojutai in the lineup. I decided to cut some cards to make way for Den Protector for a late game card recursion. I have also upped the Roast count to deal with Abzan Aggro.

I piloted the deck again last Saturday and it went 3-0-1 defeating Abzan Retreat Ramp, Atarka Red and 5-color Dragons. I drew with teammate Oliver during Round 2. Here is the updated decklist:

Temur Dragons v. 2.0
Maindeck
Creatures
2 Den Protector
2 Dragonlord Atarka
2 Dragonlord Ojutai
2 Whisperwood Elemental
4 Rattleclaw Mystic
3 Embodiment of Spring
2 Shaman of Forgotten Ways
4 Thunderbreak Regent
2 Surrak, the Hunt Caller
1 Icefall Regent

Spells
3 Craters Claw
3 Draconic Roar
2 Kiora, Master of the Depths
1 Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker
1 Sarkhan Unbroken
1 Temur Charm

Lands
4 Yavimaya Coast
1 Windswept Heath
4 Forest
2 Flooded Strand
2 Haven of the Spirit Dragon
1 Prairie Stream
4 Wooded Foothills
4 Mountain
1 Island
2 Cinder Glade

Sideboard
1 Crumble to Dust
3 Disdainful Stroke
2 Feed the Clan
3 Radiant Flames
4 Roast
2 Stubborn Denial

My recent brew was the recent version of Temur Dragons which was piloted on last Friday’s FNM at our local gamestore at Rei’s place. The deck went 2-0-1 since it was only a 3-round event and so far it performed above my expectations. I finished in First place, only slightly ahead on percentage from the second which also got 7 points. The matchups were as follows:

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:inline-block;
	min-width:100px;
	max-width:970px;
	width:100%;
	height:200px" data-ad-client="ca-pub-2323336148464359" data-ad-slot="7353149719"></ins>

Round 1 vs Atarka Red – won 2-1
Round 2 vs Jeskai Black – drew 1-1-1
Round 3 vs Abzan Aggro – won 2-0

I based the deck from the list that finished Top 8 from a TCG Player States Champs event. Here is my current decklist:

For today’s Standard deck updates of the Team M14 card pool, lists are being updated as based on the recent Grand Prix results in Sao Paulo, Brazil and in Toronto, Canada. The metagame slightly shifted away from Esper Dragons (based on Toronto Top 8 decks) and also I have to adjust on the local meta which is again filled mostly with Red aggro decks.

First of is the update for Abzan Midrange based on Lucas Siow’s winning list. I might just replace the Dromoka Command in the board for additional Drown in Sorrows. Arashin Cleric is my favorite sideboard card here as it stops Mono red’s early assault.

Next is my plan to build Green White Collected Company as I have recently completed the card. The problem though is we don’t have a playset of Deathmist Raptor yet so I might make some slight adjustment on the decklist.

Here are the current Standard decks of the team:

1.	Esper Dragons
2.	Abzan Midrange
3.	Atarka Red
4.	Mardu Dragons
5.	Mono Red Aggro
6.	Abzan Aggro
