The latest Mythic Championships just concluded hours ago with the Jund Sacrifice getting the trophy and title of Champion. The deck was played by Pro Player Poitr Glogowkski (@kanister_mtg on Twitter). He just could not be stopped in during the Top 8 matches wherein he placed 2nd prior, though those were three-game matches in the upper bracket.

He defeated World Champions Seth Manfield, PV, and Javier Dominguez before finally defeating the lower bracket finalist Brad Nelson who played Simic Flash. The finals match was somewhat epic as the counterspells and card tricks of the Simic seemed to be more dominating than that of sacrificing and creature-recursion.

The Standard Food archetype had really placed a major spot in the current metagame of the format. Various versions had been built but those were mainly starred by the Simic planeswalker Oko, Thief of Crowns.

For today’s deck tech, however, we would not have the trickster dude in our list. I got this ‘cuisine’ from the results of the Hareruya weekday Service Standard tournament last Nov. 6th. It finished 3-0 and it was piloted by Saigusa Kenji. The deck colors are Abzan: White-Black-Green. It contains the two-card combo of Cauldron Familiar and Witch’s Oven and powered by a playset of Trail of Crumbs for a continuous card draw.

Throne of Eldraine has opened a new deck arcthetype in the Standard format in the form of Adventure decks. We previously introduced a four-color build with Lucky Clover card advantage, though for today’s deck feature is more on the priority of the deck’s consistency. The colors are Green and White and the set has offered a lot of card options for Adventure creatures. These are then backed up by hard-hitters like Questing and Lovestruck Beast and team-pump with Venerated Loxodon.
