Of the variance of the White Red aggro decks in the Top 8 of the recently concluded Pro Tour Guilds of Ravnica, my personal favorite was the build of Team ChannelFireball and was played by LSV (Luis Scott-Vargas, not Lanai SmallVille). Their card choices were very relevant to their expected metagame in the event. As explained in the article by Martin Juza, having Ajani’s Pridemate with lots of life gain sources gets to be bigger than that of the mirror match and above the damage range of Deafening Clarion. That along with the ability of Adanto Vanguard and Dauntless Bodyguard, you can assure that your creatures stay alive in sweeps and other damage-related removals.

Here below is the decklist which I believe should be the winner of the Pro Tour Guilds of Ravnica.

Maindeck
4 Adanto Vanguard
4 Ajani’s Pridemate
4 Benalish Marshal
4 Dauntless Bodyguard
4 Healer’s Hawk
4 Leonin Vanguard
3 Skymarcher Aspirant

3 Pride of Conquerors
2 Conclave Tribunal
4 History of Benalia
4 Legion’s Landing

4 Clifftop Retreat
12 Plains
4 Sacred Foundry

Sideboard
2 Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice
3 Baffling End
2 Banefire
2 Conclave Tribunal
4 Experimental Frenzy
1 Mountain
1 Settle the Wreckage
