It has been a while since I last build a Gunpla kit and it is probably years ago since I have decided to quit the hobby. The main reason is the lack of time in building and painting those kits to detail. I then slowly started to sell my collection and currently, I still have those built kits webbed and dusted in a display cabinet in my previous boarding house. I may have concentrated in my Magic: the Gathering along with a few Funko Pop figures but then again I think there is still room for a new one.

I had been a fan of the movie Pacific Rim since the first one came out, much the same fascination of the mech in the Gundam mobile suits. Seeing giant Robots fighting monsters, the Kaijus which also are a near relative of Godzilla. I have also been checking their toy lines and wanting to check on which brand should I buy.

With the release of the second movie, Pacific Rim Uprising, I have thought that it really is the best time to start the collection.

I made my purchase earlier today at a hobby store in the Shopee platform. It was the NECA Pacific Rim Jaeger Coyote Tango figure which costs around P800. It will probably arrive by next week along with the mechanical Haro model kit and I will post a short review once I received them. It is only a small start but hopefully, I can get to pose em on a new display cabinet here in the bhouse.
