Magic: the Gathering online platforms like MTG Arena gets you to build and playtest Standard deck archetypes without spending on the actual card. If ever you would need to play the deck on your next local game store tournament, then you would only do the card changes digitally.

For today, I have a feature deck that looks to be a variance of the top-tier archetypes in the current Standard metagame. The deck is something that you would want to test on Magic Arena or MTG Online if you have the spare card pieces to build it. The main reason is the various one-ofs and two-ofs in their deck build which I like, and I remember also implementing it on my deck build years back when I was still a competitive LGS player.

Anyhow, the deck is called Abzan Aggro, and it was played by ajani_alex in the MTGO League last 3/24/22. See the full decklist below.

As of this blog posting, the country retailer for Magic: the Gathering products has still haven’t updated our local game store regarding the status of the release of the first wave of the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. It is quite disappointing as more delays were encountered in the logistics but yeah, we just needed to wait a bit longer.

The good thing was that the Prerelease events were able to push through and I pre-ordered one PR kit for an unboxing video. Thanking myself for this ideal decision. I was eager to join our local game store Prerelease event but was not able to due to a late conflict of schedule.
