Yesterday was M:tG Iloilo’s first-ever unified team Standard tournament. This format was based on the recent World Magic Cup event wherein the teams are limited to playing no more than four copies of a specific card aside from the basic lands.

Eight teams joined which means there were four rounds of gameplay. I formed with Oliver and Raoul a team that we called M14 (not related to the current coreset). I played Kibler’s Gruul Aggro, with a little tweak on the sideboard. Oliver played Golgari Control while Raoul was on Blue White Control.

We managed to get third place with the last round win against the team of Mao, Rei, and Tonton. Our final record was 2-1-1. Here are the top three teams of the Unified Team Standard of M:tG Iloilo.
