With Day 2 of the Magic World Championships XXVI wrapping up earlier this Sunday PH time, the four qualified players are pretty stacked. Hall of Famers and previous World Champions, each has its merit in being considered as the best players of the game. What will come down tomorrow’s matches though is one how they will play out the decks that they piloted.

That said, here are the Top 4 decks of the Magic World Championships XXVI.

Marchio Carvalho
Jeskai Fires

Maindeck
4 Teferi, Time Raveler
3 Deafening Clarion
4 Fires of Invention
1 Shimmer of Possibility
2 Aether Gust

4 Cavalier of Flame
4 Sphinx of Foresight
2 Cavalier of Gales
3 Kenrith, the Returned King
4 Bonecrusher Giant
2 Dream Trawler

1 Plains
2 Island
2 Mountain
4 Hallowed Fountain
2 Castle Vantress
3 Temple of Epiphany
4 Steam Vents
3 Sacred Foundry
3 Temple of Triumph
3 Fabled Passage

Sideboard
4 Mystical Dispute
1 Disenchant
1 Aether Gust
1 Devout Decree
1 Tithe Taker
3 Legion Warboss
1 Deafening Clarion
1 Shatter the Sky
1 Elspeth Conquers Death
1 Justice Strike

PV Damo Da Rosa
Azorius Control

Maindeck
4 Teferi, Time Raveler
2 Mystical Dispute
3 Elspeth Conquers Death
3 Shatter the Sky
4 Absorb
3 Thirst for Meaning
3 Dovin’s Veto
2 Narset, Parter of Veils
4 Omen of the Sea
2 Banishing Light
3 The Birth of Meletis

1 Dream Trawler
1 Archon of Sun’s Grace

3 Plains
7 Island
4 Temple of Enlightenment
4 Hallowed Fountain
1 Castle Vantress
3 Castle Ardenvale
1 Field of Ruin
2 Fabled Passage

Sideboard
1 Glass Casket
2 Archon of Sun’s Grace
4 Aether Gust
1 Dovin’s Veto
2 Mystical Dispute
1 Narset, Parter of Veils
2 Commence the Endgame
2 Cerulean Drake

The first matchup between Jeskai Fires and Blue White Control will greatly favor the former pre-sideboard as the Fires deck is too slow to go under the counter spells and spot removals. Plus there are cards that are not useful in the matchup i.e. Deafening Clarion. Post-sideboard, the Jeskai Fires can go under wiith Legion Warboss and Mystical Dispute for counterspells.

Gabriel Nassif
Jeskai Fires

Maindeck
4 Cavalier of Flame
3 Kenrith, the Returned King
4 Bonecrusher Giant
4 Sphinx of Foresight
3 Brazen Borrower

4 Teferi, Time Raveler
4 Deafening Clarion
4 Fires of Invention
2 Omen of the Sea

3 Hallowed Fountain
3 Sacred Foundry
2 Plains
2 Island
4 Temple of Triumph
2 Temple of Epiphany
2 Mountain
2 Castle Vantress
4 Fabled Passage
4 Steam Vents

Sideboard
4 Robber of the Rich
1 Dovin’s Veto
1 Giant Killer
1 Devout Decree
2 Chandra’s Pyrohelix
1 Elspeth Conquers Death
1 Disenchant
3 Mystical Dispute
1 Scorching Dragonfire

Seth Manfield
Mono-Red Aggro

Maindeck
4 Runaway Steam-Kin
4 Scorch Spitter
4 Bonecrusher Giant
4 Fervent Champion
4 Rimrock Knight
3 Torbran, Thane of Red Fell
4 Anax, Hardened in the Forge
4 Robber of the Rich

3 Embercleave
4 Light Up the Stage

4 Castle Embereth
18 Mountain

Sideboard
1 Experimental Frenzy
4 Lava Coil
2 Chandra, Acolyte of Flame
4 Unchained Berserker
3 Redcap Melee
1 Tibalt, Rakish Instigator

The second matchup between Jeskai Fires and Mono Red Aggro can be in favor of the fires deck as it has clarions to clear the board with Stomp and Petty Theft to disrupt Red’s aggressiveness before putting out its own big creatures via the enchanment. A resolved Kenrith is basically game over.

The live stream coverage of the Top 4 matches will start tomorrow at 10:00am HST (Hawaii Standard Time) on Twitch.tv/Magic
