Blogging and vlogging can be tedious tasks, especially if you are trying to publish daily. As of the moment, I am trying my best to sync my content outputs on the two platforms. The tempo of publication is, at times, hindered by the mixed idea of the topics and writeup.

I solve it by having an ordered list such as deck archetype and tournament result discussions, but I do sometimes do not follow it. That is because of an instant mood to write about a specific subject.

Last week, I wasn’t able to do the scheduled postings, maybe because of the burnout while doing the vlogs. I tried to make it more creative and enticing to the audience and subscribers, but can’t seem to produce it on the output.

I am feeling that this is taking a toll, thus the blogging part suffers.

I watch related videos for ideas and methods for reference, and they seemed to be doing well despite being simple in their videos. I cannot help to compare but then there is this feeling that I do not what is lacking to make them attracted to my content.

I guess I needed to make adjustments to the content flow and schedule. Going to learn more about those.

I have not written as many blog posts as before and the lack of ideas and enthusiasm is mainly because most of my time is occupied with how to improve my vlogging and Youtube channel.

Starting almost half a year ago, I can say that the challenges are entirely different. Getting and brainstorming new ideas in a saturated theme is what keeps me busy and also watching a lot of Youtube videos. That said, the challenge makes me learn new things and skills, and also I can get to implement it on my videos in making them more fun and interesting.

I am supposedly having articles on Kaladheim previews since the start of December but having a new hobby makes the old one somewhat boring. Anyhow, I might start the writeups this week with the card spoilers and maybe some deck tech for Standard.

For now, this is just a checkpoint post as to where this blog site is headed and I will still be sharing my YT videos here with a short description text.

So after more than a month of waiting for the replacements parts and doing the repairs, I finally able to get my laptop back online, working, and overhauled. That is basically the hinges, LCD, and back part are replaced. That would mean that I am back on track in working with my daily blog write ups and of course on my vlog, which I planned on using OBS studio to do the recording of my deck tech features and related stuff on my Youtube channel.

Thus, I need to double pace on my list of topics to write and discuss, in particular its relevance to the recent happenings in the game like patches and stuff. I might still go with a few tutorials on Magic: the Gathering and Ragnarok Online Mobile basics here and there. Standard deck features will also be covered including recent tournament results. I guess I should start with a strict daily schedule to get me on track.

The current issue now in making my Standard deck tech videos is the freezing screen during the recording. I did a few tries but the freezing just appears right there. I am still in the process of fixing it via suggestions from the forums and YT videos so this might cause a delay. We shall see if we can get a definite fix or we go with Plan B.

I am already starting to feel the momentum on doing more video blogging on my Youtube channel and account. With the recent phone upgrade which got me the capability of catching more vibrant and detailed MtG cards, stuff and happenings in the local scene, I think I am obliged to make 100% use of the resources that I have.

What are currently the videos that I made? Well, the recent one was the coverage of the Top 8 matchups of the Day 1 Standard format of the Magic: the Gathering Iloilo community year-ender tournament. I took clips of the angles of the battlefield tables and the players’ gestures and reaction. I then compiled it in the YouCut application which is pretty basic but efficient kind of video editor and posted it at the community Facebook page.

Also another previous project was the booster crackin’ videos which I look forward to improving in every new episode. I might be only opening two to three boosters but I am to make sure that each relevant card is discussed of its uses in certain game formats. The recent video under this list was the opening of three Ravnica Allegiance Booster packs.

What I am currently working on is the unboxing the cards and boxes I hauled from a friend who is quiting the game and getting rid of his extra stuff. I may publish it later today or tomorrow as I still need to create the flow of the video and an awesome intro video clip for the DeathMarked MtG channel.

I guess that is enough update to keep you guys in touch of what I am doing and what is upcoming on this blog. Stay tuned for those.
