The upcoming Magic: the Gathering set Kaldheim is starting its card and other info previews with a bang. Like literally a heavy metal kind of bang. Announced last night (PH time) at the Wizards of the Coast Daily MTG Feature article, this Magic’s Week of Metal will have a glimpse of the world in the most awesome characters, cards, and styles that Magic has ever seen.

It was previewed before that the set will have the Vikings theme, and the European heavy metal genre is sort of the icing on the cake. I am thinking of the Kjeldor icy mountains and its residents as a similar reference.
