And so my preordered Magic: the Gathering Zendikar Rising draft booster box has finally arrived after another batch of product delays in the distribution to the SEA local game stores and while I am less excited than before, I am still happy to do some booster pack openings after a long while.

Our MTG local game store Pro Reis place has scheduled the Zendikar Rising Prerelease to be held this weekend. The setup will be the usual special Sealed format with the Prerelease kit product. The alloted slots is only 18, half from the usual 36 slots, so as to comply with the rules on group gathering and to maintain social distancing in the play tables.

The Zendikar Rising products’ arrival to the Philippines was also delayed and so the Prerelease events was pushed to a week after its initial schedule. I still hope it will arrive here in Iloilo city on time or before this weekend.

it might be too early for some Zendikar Rising spoilers but the internet has a lot of ways to dig out speculations on the cards of the upcoming Magic: the Gathering set. Especially now that the people have enough time due to the Covid19 pandemic forcing them to stay at home.

The recent one is the rumored new version of the dual lands or the two-mana type producing lands. Here below is the card preview of this land, in a double-faced template.

As this card enters the battlefield choose as side means that you need to choose a color for that land to produce. It is somehow similar to the Future Shifted dual land Nimbus Maze where its mana-producing ability is based on whether you control a specific Island or Plains. How the double-face function is represented is still the question and is waiting for the official reveal if this rumor is correct.

If ever this card is true, it will be a reliable addition to the batch of dual lands in the current Standard as the previous sets will be rotating out once Zendikar Rising set is released in October.
