The newest feature of the KVM Battle Event in the game Ragnarok X: The Next Generation offers the participants additional benefits in the forms of Base and Job Experiences and In-game Crystals bonus whenever certain conditions during the event are fulfilled. It started last Tuesday and I participated in a party with my guild RedHorse.PH.

A new week means another batch of scheduled KVM battle event in the Ragnarok X: The Next Generation game. The first one was last night, Tuesday, wherein the guildmates were needed to participate in order to boost the guild’s KVM ranking. I think the ranks were reset for the season and so we needed to win as many points as possible.

The Party group list was assigned but I was not able to join our assigned group and instead just the party that needed members to complete. We were able to complete one though we lacked a High Priest for support and buff functions. Anyhow, we still went through even though we auto loss to strong Whale guilds. That is even if we have strong hitters in the party.

One of the features of the game Ragnarok X: The Next Generation is the KVM Battle which is short for Kreiger Von Midgard. This event is where 5 players of the same guild team up for 5v5 arena battle. This first KVM schedule for this week was last night at 9:30pm, and the guild has pre-assigned party members to do this event not only as complying with the Shadow Equipment unlock but also to rank up the guild in the KVM standings in the channel.

As per my current equipment, I didn’t yet have the ideal gears for the PVP battle so I just relied on my food buffs, buffs of our party priest, and PVP healing potions. Check out below our KVM battle matches recap.

I was finally able to reach Job Level 50 on my Hunter character in Ragnarok X: The Next Generation game. It was a tedious & long grind especially since choosing the ideal spots was difficult to sustain, but here we are now. Doing the job change class quest to the Sniper job ain’t going to be easy though, and is expected compared to the ones I’ve done way back to the old Ragnarok Online PC game in 2003.

Anywho, I have decided to record as I did the Sniper job change quest which you can check on the uploaded Youtube video below. Do take note of certain monsters to kill so prepare a bunch of hp potions. Enjoy and see you in the game.

The daily activities in Ragnarok X are typically the same in other RPG mobile games you’ve played. There is a list of to-dos that you need to finish before the reset time the next day. How you optimize these tasks is the main question. Today, I will be sharing my method of doing the daily objectives in the Ragnarok X: The Next Generation game.

1. Odin’s Blessing regen at Prontera – The first basic thing to do after you log in. As you roam around the city dropping by Kafra NPS and storing your excess loots, your Odin’s Blessing continuous to generate up until you reach the 600 amount. While waiting for it, you can do stuff such as the next one on my list. Also don’t forget to gift those selected NPCs so that you will gain more favor from them, and items later on.

2. Get Mission Board within Prontera area – Mission Board lists ten tasks for you to get done to gain experience and zeny. This resets every 6:00am the next day so make sure to finish every one of them. What my routine here is as I check every task that is started within Prontera. In that way, I can maximize my stay as I generate Odin’s Blessing and at the same time do a Mission Board task. 

3. CoC going with storage and NPCs around Prontera – Aside from the Mission Board tasks, you can also get experience when you the Chamber of Commerce daily item exchange. I made a video on how you can do it here. So that is running around Prontera doing these up until you Odin’s Blessing generation is maxed. 

4. After Maxed Odin, go to the nearest town or map where your multiple Mission Board tasks are located. One of my examples is going to Morroc to talk to the NPCs that will ask you to kill Mummies, Isis, or Minorous inside the Pyramid. I do this so I can only teleport once to the map. Be sure to carefully read each of the tasks on your drop-down list on the left to determine them. 

5. Spend my combat time with Odin’s Blessing whenever I am within the area of my targeted monster to grind experience. For example, there is one Mission Board task to kill Marse in Underwater Temple. I teleport to the map, kill the minimum number and then turn my target to the Swordfish spawn area and spend some Odin’s Blessing there grinding for Job Exp. 

6. Spending Odin’s Blessing gains you Stamina which you can later on use to grind your Life skills. What I usually do is once my Stamina reaches around 2k to 3k, I teleport to the Mjoilnir Mine 2F to gather minerals for my Smelting skill. Iron Ores, Upgrading Metals and Rough Oridecons are my top priority. I can just auto-gather and then do my real-life chores.

Here below is my video guide on grinding to the Swordfish spawn area in Underwater Temple 2F. I am maximizing my Job Exp so I can reach Job level 50 for the Sniper Job Class quest.

Today I am showing to you my current grinding spot for AFK using my Level 46 Hunter in the Ragnarok X: The Next Generation game. We all know that we can be busy in real life and so we just at times leave our cellphones or emulators online with our character doing auto attacks in specific monster spots. This is not only to gain materials for quest and crafting but also optimizing our grinding experience gain.

This is my recent AFK setup for the grind of my character on Ragnarok X: The Next Generation is located in Mjolnir Dead Pit 1F.The target monster is Skeleton Worker, Base Level 40, Undead, Medium Size. Check out this short guide video below. 

One of the important things when playing Ragnarok X: The Next Generation is to maximize your leveling experience. That is how can you level up fast. Of course, there is the daily Odin’s Blessing where each experience gained is multiplied, but how can you optimize it is the main question. For today, I will be sharing a short monster guide as to where you can grind your characters even with the basic equipment, from your first job and upon reaching your Job Level 50 so that you can then job change to that of the 2^nd Job classes.

Each monster level and the experience you gain is based on the difference in your character’s current level. That means in order to maximize the experience gained, the level gap should be up to three levels up and three levels down. Otherwise, an experience penalty is given to your character.

To start with here below is the quick rundown of the monsters which you can sequence as you increase both your base and job level.

1. Poison Spore (Level 28, Plant, Poison, Medium) – This located in Capital Sewers 2F which you can access from Prontera. It is recommended from Base Level 25 up to 32.
2. Roda Frog (Level 33, Fish, Water, Medium) – This monster is found at Shipwreck 1F which is accessible via Izlude Island. Grinding recommendation level: 30 up to 37. Arrows to use: Wind type.
3. Caramel (Level 34, Insect, Earth, Small) – This is in Mjolnir Mountains. You can start grinding here at level 31 up to level 38. Arrows to use: Fire type.
4. Martin (Level 37, Brute, Earth, Small) – This spawns at Mjolnir Cave 1F, entrance is northwest of Mjolnir Mountains. Base Level to start grinding is 34 up to 41 or until your Job level reaches 50. Arrows to use: Fire type.

Do take note that these grinding spots are usually very crowded depending on your channel. Most of the popular servers in ROX usually got full capacity during peak hours and so you need to be online and login earlier to avoid queuing.

In my personal experience as an archer, my ranged attack really matters I don’t need stay beside their spawning spot to be able to damage them. I usually setup between the two spots so the simultaneously hit these monsters as they spawn and let the other grinding players do their thing.

Also, being in an adventure party is suggested in order to boost your experience gained. That is, being in a party with different job classes. Anywho, I will wrap this up for now.

 I started playing Ragnarok X: The Next Generation last week after pre-registering to it a few months back, and I can say that this is a good break from the usual gameplay of Ragnarok Online Mobile. The Southeast Asia region server for this game just opened last June 18^th and that it also featured several sub-channels for the player adventurers. The Job class I chose was again Archer and I just recently advanced to a Hunter class after reaching job level 50.
