I did a few unboxing videos of the Magic the Gathering bundle and booster box products of the previous sets and posted them online on my Facebook page and at the MTG Iloilo community page. or today’s unboxing, however, I decided to just take some pictures and write the details instead.

The Throne of Eldraine Bundle had a slight increase in its retail price in the Philippine market. A few of the game stores in Manila priced it at 2,350php from the previous 2,200php. I would expect some new add-ons in the product but that is not the case, unfortunately.

I bought the product from a local game store in Laguna wherein they posted online that they are selling these bundles at its original price and with free shipping. That prompted me to order one right away.

The package arrived a few days later and I picked it at the LBC branch in Robinsons City Proper. Opening the box, the bundle is covered with bubble wrap for dent protection. I had to cut through it with a scissor to be able to remove it.

The cardboard wrapper has its usual artwork panorama in the back but I did not take a picture of it.

Below the main card container, you will get an extra black cardboard box for additional storage.

What replaced the player’s guide book is a single-page pamphlet that has a picture of the Royal Scions and a note telling you to check the story on the website.

Next, are the foil basic lands with the promo foil and alternate art Piper of the Swarm ( which at the moment I do not know its use in Standard) and the land pack that contains 20 regular basic lands.

The ten boosters packs which they called as draft booster packs. I was hoping to open some on-demand Mythics like Questing Beast.

Unfortunately, I was again unlucky with the pulls.

There are useful rares but the sole card of the money value here is Fabled Passage which currently is around 900php each. The foil Cauldron of Eternity might be useful later on so I’d just keep it for now.

Overall, it is hit-or-miss in getting the good cards in an MTG Bundle. For a higher percentage of the value, I’d suggest you buy a booster box instead of this one as there is a higher assurance of getting at least three Mythics.
