The recent Starcitygames major Standard event last weekend saw new upgrades and innovations of the cards from Dominaria into the existing deck archetypes in the format. The Top finishers are looking to define the Dominaria Standard metagame and one of which is the deck I am going to feature today: Blue White Historic. The deck’s creatures are at most Flashy or make its other spells Flash via Raff Capashen.

Raff Capashen, Ship’s Mage is a four-drop Flash creature that makes your other historic spells Flash (you may cast them at any time). You can Flash in cards like the Teferi planeswalker, Lyra Dawnbringer and History of Benalia on your opponents’ turn in case they would not cast anything while you can still deal with their relevant creatures with Seal Away and Blink of an Eye.
