Here is a Standard deck tech from the recent WMCQ I Philippines held last weekend in Manila. The innovative deck looks like a straightforward B/G aggro but with an Eldrazi twist as it uses Thought-Knot Seers and Reality Smashers. It was piloted by Zax Ozaki, whom I regard as one of the best players in the country. He finished 2nd place in the event, losing to a Blue Red Eldrazi Ramp deck.Here below is the decklist:

I went to Manila last weekend for the first leg of the World Magic Cup Qualifiers for the Philippines. The tournament was held in Fisher Mall in Quezon City and was hosted by Regran Hobbies & Collectibles Shop. It was a jam packed event and as expected, we surpassed last year’s attendance record with this year’s 492 participants. It was then a ten-round Swiss tournament with a cut to the Top 8 which the playoffs will then be held next day.

So the first World Magic Cup Qualifiers will be held this coming weekend and I have not finalized my decklist just yet. The first primary reason was the time constraints for me to build the deck, given my night shift work. My initial planned deck was the
