Here is a short summary on what transpired during the Battle for Zendikar Gameday Iloilo last Saturday. The tournament had 23 players in attendance which means we will have five rounds of Swiss before the cut to the top 8. The deck I played was Atarka Red referenced from PVDDR’s Pro Tour list. I made slight changes from Chandra to Yasoova Dragonclaw in the maindeck and Hooting Mandrils on the board. I was able to make it to the top 8 with a 3-1-1 (winning against Jeskai Black, Bant Tokens and Abzan Aggro and losing against the mirror) record but immediately losing to Ramon’s 5-color Bring to Light deck.
