While the official Brother’s War card previews have hit the Internet from the official WotC website and other spoiler sources, we are still looking at how the current decks in the Standard format would adjust and adopt the new cards. It is fun but is quite a challenge.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
 style="display:inline-block;
	min-width:100px;
	max-width:970px;
	width:100%;
	height:200px"
 data-ad-client="ca-pub-2323336148464359"
 data-ad-slot="7353149719"></ins>

The checking method I use is by batch or by card specifically, like comparing a bunch of them to an existing deck archetype like Grixis or Esper midrange for example. Of course, the mono colors are easier to go with as you will just replace the least used cards with those from the new set.

We will go into detail on that next time but today’s Standard Deck Tech which will get an update from the Brother’s War set is the Mardu Invoke deck build. This is another midrange deck (as with most popular deck builds in the format) but this is not all about stabilizing a linear strategy but going on a resilient late-game plan with utility creatures that also act as your main beatdown route.

Check out below the deck tech discussion of the build posted on my Youtube Channel, DeathMarked TV. Enjoy!

The Magic: the Gathering deck building in DMU Standard is continuous, in particular, the list that are keep getting adjusted to the format’s metagame and at the least weekly. The one deck I will feature in today’s blog post is the Broker’s Ascendancy deck which I think got a relevant makeover to go with the metagame of Esper Raffine, Jund Windgrace, and Grixis Sol’ Kanar.

There are times in the Magic: the Gathering deck-building sessions when you would want something different out of the usual lineup. It might not be actually an entirely 100% of the same two-color or three-color decks but there are cards that you would want to try out of the curiosity that this or that strategy will work.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
 style="display:inline-block;
	min-width:100px;
	max-width:970px;
	width:100%;

 data-ad-client="ca-pub-2323336148464359"

With the current Dominaria United Standard, some new cards were provided that might be seen in the format’s metagame. Well, the usual playable will still be there, and added with something spicy to spark interest. This deck archetype is the Azorius Flash deck and I was able to get a reference list from the recent result of an MTGO League tournament. Flash means you can play cards at any time you can cast an Instant and so is this deck’s main strategy for winning. Included are counterspells, Flash creatures and the Flashy Wandering Emperor.

Check out my video of the deck discussion in the card choices and components synergy in the build.

With the new set’s mechanics and strategy now being implemented in the Standard format, we see some previous decks being adjusted to that setup. One of which that I will feature in today’s Magic: the Gathering Standard deck tech blog post is the Cabaretti tokens with Jetmir, Nexus of Revels and Jinnie Fay, Jetmir’s Second as the main creatures.

Good day all, we see the current Standard format blooming well with the new cards from Dominaria United. The newest Magic: the Gathering set has seemed to be adapting well to the format as it has defined some deck build archetypes as well as provided card options to other existing lists. This is based on the recent MTG tournament results online and submitted to sites such as MTG Top 8.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"

One deck build in particular that I am referring to in today’s blog post is the Esper Flash Control deck. This variance I discussed in the video below is the one with the new nonbasic land from Dominaria United, the Plaza of Heroes. This card has somewhat got the deck adjusted to accommodate more Legendary creatures.

Check out Esper Plaza of Heroes Standard deck tech below. Also, don’t forget to check out my Youtube Channel for previous Standard deck techs for Dominaria United.
