Magic: the Gathering Standard deck update goes with the setup of cards in sacrificing creatures. These can also go with the Clerics Tribal build, but unfortunately, the new set could not provide enough card components that will coincide with the build.

Today’s deck feature is another user-submitted to the website MTG Goldfish, and what I noticed initially, is the color combination of Black and White. If you are not familiar yet, Rakdos is the dominating color of the deck for the sacrifice deck strategy.

In my observation of the past Magic: the Gathering Standard rotations, one of the archetypes that are easily adopted in the metagame is the Mono-Red Aggro deck. It might be a given that the R&D of Wizards has been continually making Red cards either creatures or spells that are efficient in supporting their nature of being aggressive and fast and dealing damage as early as possible.

That may be the primary reason why as I was browsing through the Dominaria United card spoilers, I can spot easily the potential Red cards for an updated Mono-Red Aggro deck after the rotation. In that regard, here below is the deck tech video I made for the archetype and uploaded it on my Youtube channel.

I have been trying to do a batch discussion of the card previews for the upcoming Magic: the Gathering Dominaria United set, and that is to specify each card’s potential and gameplay uses in various formats. Standard is the utmost priority because of the scheduled rotation, and also my familiarity with the format’s metagame decks. This is then followed by Pioneer, as this is the format played in most major upcoming tournaments.

I can say at this time that the set has a lot to offer and that I am pretty much excited to try the new cards in paper once they are released. Given that there are no more delays due to logistics issues. The set’s Prerelease will be on September 3rd in our local gamestore schedule.

It is the spoiler season and we got a few more days before the complete Dominaria United card set is out for us to explore and enjoy. In partnership with this are the brewing decks with the new cards, especially in Standard wherein the rotation will happen as Dominaria United enters legal gameplay.

The Magic: the Gathering Standard deck for today’s blog post is the Red Green or Gruul Aggro deck on the Modified mechanic. The initial reference list was from the recent results posted on the MTG Top 8 website, which I then updated to its possible post-rotation setup and removing the rotating cards of course.
