The Calm before the Storm

As of this posting, I am currently enjoying my iced cappuccino here in Bluejay Coffee shop here in SM City Iloilo. Yes I’d expect Monday to be hectic but decided to just take a short break, before I face the demons later on. Lol.

I started the day with the CPDO office commencing today’s flag ceremony of the Iloilo City Government. The initials went okay as well as our dance presentation, though I think I missed a few routines. After that was field work wherein I follow-up the data that were to be gathered from the Department of Education Division of Iloilo office and from various tertiary schools. Enduring the summer heat is painful especially since I forgot to bring an umbrella. The traffic was worse too, given that a lot of road repairs in various main roads in the city. I just thought if the contractor would just do it one at a time so they can finish it in a short period. It was exhausting and dehydrating.

I then had to cut the day short as I can no longer bear the sun’s radiation, an appropriate term in that specific case. We need more trees, like seriously. Aircon is much appreciated here but a lesser urban heat would be better.

Anyhow, I am down to my last sip of this coffee so I am going to wrap up things with our research group’s goal tomorrow which is to conduct interviews for our KII. Our questionnaire would still be finalized tonight and since our adviser has not and still not responded yet to our documents, we might need to just act this up on our own. Wish us good luck.
