Magic Support for REPH Geek Guild

My friend and GP HK travel buddy Fiona has recently contacted me of their plan in their office to create a group that caters the geeky hobbies and collections. They called it the Geek Guild of Reed Elsevier Philippines – Iloilo. In that regard, she asked if I can provide welcome decks for the new players and to held learn-to-play sessions for those who is interested of the game. I gladly obliged since I still have leftover decks that were not distributed from the CONquest event last December. I then gathered cards from my old pile at the bhaus along with my basic land box to create these 30-card decks. I combined allied and enemy colors with themes from the Magic expansions such as Enchantment creatures, Graveyard effects, Cycling, Exert and also tribal decks such as Soldiers, Pirates, Dinosaurs and Goblins. I built the decks until I filled a booster box of Ixalan.

I then asked Dean, Fiona’s officemate, to pick up the cards so they could add it to their Geek Guild booth. They dropped by and got it the next day. Here below is Fiona’s post displaying the box of Magic cards along with the label of “Magic: the Gathering Demo Decks” available and ready for the learn-to-play session.

Best of luck to you guys and I hope you can recruit more peeps to join our MTG Iloilo community and family. 🙂
