Selling Cards from my Album and Collection via Shopee Platform

Just recently, I have realized that the one defined way to sell my Magic: the Gathering cards is via the Shopee online store platform. I had this observation on some of the cards bought weren’t only from LGS but also from these individual shops that are posting on the platform their MTG card singles, booster packs, and accessories. I have also known that a fellow MTG player in our Iloilo community has been on the platform selling cards and is also doing well with the sales.

Initially, I didn’t know the requirements for setting up the Shopee Seller store but watching a few tutorial videos on Youtube did enlightened me on the steps of doing so. Shopee also has a guide page but I didn’t think there was enough information on it.

I then decided to partner with my card pool mate Ericson and assigned his house address as the pickup point on the orders for the courier rider.

So far the first batch of orders are going well, especially on those Common cards that are on demand in the Pauper format. We are then continuously adding cards to our inventory and pricing them with the calculation of including Shopee’s 2% charge for each item.

This slight issue though is the difficulty of adding the cards to each color category: that is the five colors, artifacts, colorless and lands. I guess the need here is to allot some time and effort in sorting each of the cards to these categories and by that means there should be an option on the product input page to be able to categorize it before publishing. I do hope they do that update soon.

Anywho for now, you can check out our Shopee store KoymaksMTG to browse our current cards on sale on this link.
