The Magic: the Gathering TMNT Commander card previews are kicking off with exciting new legends, flavorful mechanics, and multiplayer-ready designs that promise to shake up pods everywhere. One in particular that is to feature in today’s blog post is the card Mole Module.
Mole Module brings explosive, high-variance power to the Commander format, offering a unique blend of combat pressure and cheat-into-play potential. As a five-mana 6/6 Vehicle with menace and Crew 2, it presents an efficient and resilient threat that can slot into a variety of artifact, graveyard, or combat-focused strategies.
Menace makes it difficult to block profitably in multiplayer, where opponents are often light on creatures in the early turns or reluctant to trade key utility pieces. In Commander, where combat damage triggers can snowball quickly, connecting even once can generate massive value. Because it only needs Crew 2, it’s easy to activate with small utility creatures, tokens, or incidental bodies that might otherwise sit back defensively.

The real ceiling comes from its on-hit trigger: milling four cards and putting a permanent from among them directly onto the battlefield. In a 100-card singleton format filled with high-impact permanents, this effect can cheat out planeswalkers, enchantments, creatures, or even additional artifacts at a steep discount. Decks built to manipulate the top of the library or recur milled cards can turn what looks like variance into a consistent value engine.
Mole Module also synergizes particularly well with self-mill, artifact recursion, and graveyard-centric commanders. Even if you miss a premium permanent, stocking your graveyard fuels reanimation, delve, flashback, or other recursive mechanics. In colors that support artifact tutoring or top-deck stacking, the Vehicle becomes less of a gamble and more of a calculated excavation tool.
Ultimately, Mole Module has strong Commander potential as both a pressure piece and a value engine in the right shell. It rewards thoughtful deck construction, offers splashy battlefield swings, and creates memorable moments when it drills into exactly the permanent you need. In multiplayer pods that value synergy and big plays, this Vehicle could quickly become a standout engine card rather than just another beater.
