Here is another addition to my pending Gunpla projects. I had to admit that the previous ones were already completed, except that I still don’t have the decent camera to take some pose shots. Anyhow, this kit was purchased when I explored Divisoria (on my extra day after Grand Prix Manila) to find the 168 Shopping Mall. I later on found out it was beyond that place, in which the mall was located on the Binondo area.
It was a mess going there the first time, and I almost got lost. As I entered the mall, the stalls were very near each other that the hallways were just about a person-wide. Good thing I was able to find the right stall that sells bootleg Gundams even without a map.
Going back, the Thrones were one of my favorites on the Gundam 00 series. Though they might look like deformed Gundams, they are surely worth to collect and their Bandai versions costs around 1k pesos.
Here are some pics of my work on the kit.
So far the parts were sturdy enough aside from the usual uneven molds which just needs little trimming with a hobby knife. I suggest you make it a habit to cut around the connector parts so as to avoid difficulty on assembling later on.
I guess that’s it. Until next post.
