Just digging some of my old posts on my other blog. This one got me interested in going back into cooking again. I missed those days. Yum, yum. haha.
I’ll just quote a part of the original post here.
Master and I thought about a new recipe to cook this week and we ended up in cooking Sinigang na Baboy (Pork in Sour Broth). I took charge of cooking it with no idea whatsoever (my first time again. lol..) so I looked for a cooking procedure in the internet and here’s what I’ve followed:
SINIGANG NA BABOY (Pork in Sour Broth)
1. In a large pot, bring water and pork to a boil. Add tomatoes, onion, salt and tamarind. Simmer 1 hour or until pork is tender.
2. Optional: Remove tamarind and mash with some broth. Strain juice back into pot.
3. Taste for seasoning. Bring to a boil. Add green beans and radish. for 10 minutes.
4. Add spinach, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minute to finish cooking spinach. The changes in the ingredients that I’ve used are the Sinigang mix instead of the actual tamarind, radishes and kangkong (river spinach). The result?
Looks yummy eh. Now who said that Magic: The Gathering players can’t cook. Lol…
Yeah, we can cook baby. 😀
