Happy New Year guys! So I was coping with my backlog kits during this Christmas break and I was fortunate to complete another High Grade Gunpla kit. This kit is the HG 1/144 Char’s Z’gok of the Universal Century line.

The kit was unintentionally purchased last December 16 when I went to Mambukal Resort in Negros for some R&R. We had a stop-over at SM City Bacolod when I decided to visit their Toy Kingdom. There I found a lot of HG and MG kits, also some SD kits from the Wing series. Most of their kits were somewhat overpriced but as I was browsing through their displays, I found this kit priced at 499.75php. That got my attention to purchase it without more ado.

As I was finishing up the build and assembly, my friend Masyong came by my place with his DSLR cameras so we decided to do some pose shots.

And here are the results:

Looking very good eh? That’s because of the proper lighting setup and some custom camera settings. What I just did are a few panel lines and wash and Flat Clear top coated the kit. The only mishap I think was the wrong color of the arm and leg armor which I should’ve repainted.

Anyhow overall, this was an amazing kit for a High-Grade scale. I’d definitely recommend this kit if you like to do some custom mods or a color theme plan of your own.
