Completing the HG Flying Armor for MK-II

So here is another Gunpla work update. A fairly sunny weather was yesterday’s afternoon so I decided to finally assemble and paint the Flying Armor that goes with the HG MK-II. There are two runners with large parts that I reserved for the unit. I knew it to be large but didn’t knew to be that huge after I assembled the parts.

Most of the white parts were spray painted beforehand with Bosny Clear before I did the panel lines. On this pic below, these parts are done with a few decals and panel lined and now readied for Flat Clear top coat.

The Flying Armor partially assembled. Look at its size almost filling the cutting mat!

The completed Flying Armor. Its length is more than the height of a typical High Grade kit.

Here is testing the pose with the mobile suit.

Let us try the standing position.

I’ll do some decent shots of the completed set on a separate blog post.

Until next time.
