Kit Painting Jobs Done

I had been busy last week but I was able to sneak in a few painting jobs on my most recent acquired Gunpla kits. It has been raining these past weeks so I had to take advantage of the hot weather between the storms. Also, I bought two additional spray cans for the two colors needed to the Blitz Gundam, which were the Silver and the Orchid (a substitute for Violet).

Still I was not able to locate the paint store that sells cheap spray cans which was suggested by Baraki. I think I should give it a try finding again on the weekend (if time permits).

Anyhow, here are the kits. The first one done was the 1/144 HG Aile Strike Gundam from Gundam Seed. I apologize for the blurry shots. Cellphone camera just sucks.

A little pose shall we?

The second one, mentioned earlier, is the 1/144 HG Blitz Gundam from the same series, Gundam Seed. Yes it is obvious that I am trying to collect all the models from that series. Another reason is that they are mostly sold at a lower price than typical HG kits.

I made a short video of the snapshots of my build and here it is. Enjoy.

Overall, my favorite of the two is the second one for the reason that I am fond of the black color and I was happy to successfully done the spraying of two colors in one kit piece, which was on the leg parts. There are still decals needed to add detail and a top coat for the finish the job. Hopefully, I can complete these steps before the paint wears off.

I guess that’s about it. Until the next post.
