My recent purchase for my Gunpla trips arrived today and these are the tools I’ve badly needed to make efficient and realistic panel lines on my kits. What I am talking about is the Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color. This product makes your panel line washing a breeze.
I know I saw some techniques on mixing the correct enamel paint and thinner for panel line wash but I am not certain on using industrial enamel paints for that as it might melt the plastic or at the least ruin the acrylic paint.
Here is the Panel Line Accent Color. I bought two colors, Black and Brown. Also bought along a Tamiya Putty for a friend.
Next is an initial after I applied on the upper thigh part of the HG RX-78-2. Looks somewhat a mess but I will be cleaning it with a lighter fluid pretty soon. It actually works like a charm with a few soft dips on the surface.
We’ll see tomorrow what happens after cleaning the excess paint. Until next post!
