Project Zaku Work Update II

Finally, here is a work update. I’ve so far found the right color scheme to use for the MG 1/100 Zaku Tri-stars. The three variations of the color Brown is what that will be used for specific armor parts. The inner frame is 90% done but with one major issue: I lost an important connector part from the leg to the inner frame of the thigh.

I asked help from fellow Gunpla hobbyist in the community if they have some spare part for that piece. They don’t have any, so my best resort is to ask Jerome who has been working on recasting parts lately to help me recreate the lost piece. He had not updated me yet as of this posting so I am still crossing my fingers.

Most of the armor parts were already primed and ready for painting. My expectation now is for the weather to cooperate as I need some sun to hasten my painting job. It is already left to one week until the deadline of the contest so a double time on the work must be done.

Here are some snap shots of the paints that I will use.

Watch out for part 3 within this week. Until next post. 🙂
