So a few weeks ago, I decided to order some untypical Gunpla decals from Samuel Decals. He is one of the sellers I’ve read about which was recommended & that’s based in Hong Kong. Before I was able to check his decal prices on his website but recently that site got inaccessible and he switched his transactions to his Facebook Page.

I’ve browsed the photo albums and decided to give the order a shot. His payment options for overseas orders is via Paypal (which is also my payment option for buying stuff online) & Western Union. His two mail options are via Hongkong Post with tracking no. and the one with none. Obviously I chose the one with the number since the price difference is not that of a big deal.

Three HG 1/144 decals from the UC line plus shipping costs me around 450php. The waiting time was indefinite though as the tracking number update stopped when the item got out of Hongkong. I think that was a total of three weeks before the item finally arrived at the bhaus.

The decal quality was on an average, though I can’t specifically compare to that of the commercial decals as these were my first decals to use on my kits. It was also my first time on applying them on the parts and using the Mr. Hobby Mark Setter. The results were quite satisfactory.

So far I can recommend Samuel Decals in purchasing your desired decal design specific for each of your Gunpla kit.
