This year’s weather started incredibly cold with casual rain showers and that means delay in my painting of this Gunpla project. That also messed up my planned Part Two post so I’ll just go with this short update of the build.

Painting and panel line wash were the next steps, which I was able to do the latter first on the arms and leg parts. There were some short sunny days just recently so I got to chance to Flat Clear top coat most of them and then proceed to detailing and panel lining.

I have checked some unused stickers from previous kits for the details as the stickers provided in the kit are expectedly of low quality. Good thing I have got to find one or two to use. On to the assembling of the kit,

This is the part in the front skirt wherein I placed stickers from an old kit. Notice those gold trims?

The shield wherein I also placed a sticker: a clear one this time.

The feet and legs assembled (in sort of a Voltron tone).As expected, the hard plastic caused by the subpar molding could not let me close the gaps as much as I can.

Not sure what they call it but it is the mobile suit’s main shield now assembled, along with the clear green parts.

Also, here is the beam saber.
