So we are back with the big guys. My current WIP is the Master Grade 1/100 Deathscythe Hell Custom from the Endless Waltz movie of the Gundam Wing series, produced by the TT Hongli China brand. This is actually just my second MG project as I was quite attached on building and improving high grade kits.
Anyhow, I ordered this kit from an online seller in Bulacan which convinced me that his kit price plus shipping fee is fair enough. That’s because my other previous orders got me quite an expense on shipping. Spending about 300 pesos for just one HG kit is not what I’d go with. This seller’s rate on two HG kits at around 270 php looks valid enough & 260 for a MG kit is very much okay. Plus that his prices were not that far from sellers in Metro Manila.
Going back, I somewhat changed my building process of this kit. Before was a mess when I built the Wing Zero Custom wherein I just cut all the parts off the runners without sorting on which component it would be used. On this one, I followed the instructions on each page of the manual and carefully cutting the needed parts for that portion. It quite took some time on going through back and forth to the manual and the runners but that method made it look easy for me to build the kit.
As for the painting, I didn’t get to prime the parts as I just stick to its original color scheme. The paints I’ve used so far are Flat Black, Dark Grey, Flat Clear and White. Here are a few pics of the works I made for the MG 1/100 Deathscythe Hell Custom.
