This is sort of a late post, but I just wanted to share this one. Last week, my toy collecting group ITCC decided to start this campaign of giving food packages for indigenous & poor people that dwells and work in the streets of Iloilo City.
We initially planned to buy premade food packs from Robinsons but decided that buying individual products by bulk would be cheaper and can give us more food packs. It was a short and late notice so only a few members have donated funds. We eventually had five Noche Buena food packs to distribute. It was December 24th when we walked around the city to look for benefactors and finally found five deserving persons/families.
It was a good feeling to have this charity work with the group and we are hoping that next year we’ll have more food packs to give.
