Yesterday’s errand at SM City Iloilo got me dropping by the Ramen & Don stall located in the Food court at the lower ground floor of the mall. I indicated the meetups just nearby the place so it will be easy to spot and there are chairs that you can sit on while waiting. I lined up at their stall after my first meetup and good thing is there is only one other customer even though it is already lunch time.
There are four variants of Ramen in their menu and also the option to order it in half in case you just would want a taste of it. They also have the combo meals but I was not able to take a picture of it.
I decided to order the Miso Ramen (P149) and had the add-on of extra Chashu pork (P30). The total bill was P179 pesos.
Here is short review of their Miso Ramen dish:
Noodles: Moderately firm but to my likeness
Broth: Somewhat spicy and above average in richness.
The Sliced chashu pork is very thin so I ordered the add-on pork.
Egg is a little soft-boiled but is marinated.
Servings: Bowl size is slightly large but the serving I think is the right size for a regular Ramen dish. Not overwhelmingly filled with the soup.
Value over the price: 10/10
I am wishing the price to be lesser than a hundred pesos but considering their rent of the place and other fees, it is already reasonable enough.
That is a wrap for Ramen and Don by Kollabo Ramen Restaurant. Until the next food trip post.
