It has been a hectic week for me, both on physical & financial as I prepare the teams decks for this weekend Gameday tournaments. Predicting the right cards is hard and so the last minute purchases is being done to complete the current Tier 1 deck, Mardu Vehicles.

Fyi, there are two Gameday events for MtG Iloilo this time as Critical Hit: Comics and Games has finally acquired the store level to be able to hold these type of tournaments. The schedules are Saturday, 1pm at Rei’s Place, and Sunday, 1:30pm at Critical Hit. I made the teammates choose on which day they will be playing so as I can allocate the decks beforehand. So far with two sessions of deck building and playtests, we have completed four Standard decks. The final playtest will be tonight after office, and so we will be skipping this week’s FNM schedule.

Prizes: Aether Revolt Booster packs, Promo foil for the participants and for the Top 8 finishers. AER Gameday Champion playmat for the winner.
