By the deck definition, Big Red always refers to slow and controllish deck strategy and wins by casting a seven or more mana cost critter or ultimating with their Red planeswalker. Some would just burn them up with huge mana burn spells and for today’s deck build, this will be my centerpiece for the archetype.
My friend Gedi I have recalled, have mentioned about this deck during the discussion session on Core Set 2019 spoilers. He said that the return of Banefire will surely push the midrange Red-based deck on an advantage against Blue White Control strategies. We then discussed on what the possible components maybe and based from that conversation, I have come up with the possible look of the Big Red deck in Magic Core Set 2019 Standard.
