Hi all. As I was taking a break on serious play on Standard, I had been testing old deck archetypes and doing some build twists. My current project is on the deck that had defined the Scars of Mirrodin block, the Tempered Steel aggro.

My list update is on changing the splash color from Blue to Red, utilizing Galvanic Blasts and Brimstone Volley. Here is the list:

The deck so far has garnered me two 2nd place finish in our local FNM tournaments. Lots of removals would be its main weakness but my sb package somewhat switches it to a late game advantage. The deck can explode at turn one which is somewhat difficult to lose with.

I’d suggest this deck if you’d want a fast aggro deck but is tired of playing the typical aggro archetypes in the current Standard meta.
