Esper Control Wins GP Cincinnati

Another Standard Grand Prix marks in the history of MtG competitive play, this time with Esper Control being victorious. The player that championed the deck was Kyle Boggemes, which they say as the player who always finish second. This time though, he is taking the trophy.

His finals opponent was a mirror match, with former Player of the Year Brad Nelson. He bested Nelson though is two short games to claim the first place. I got a short glimpse of the game 1 of the match wherein Boggemes was able to stick Jace and Elspeth while answering Nelson’s threats.
