Faeries are a creature type in MTG known for their agility and tricky abilities. They have been featured in various sets throughout Magic’s history, including Lorwyn and Shadowmoor blocks as the highlight of its deck archetype.
A typical Faerie deck contains creatures and spells synergizing with their tribal aspect. This might involve controlling the opponent’s board, countering spells, and cheap, evasive attacks.
The deck’s strategy revolved around tempo and control. You’d use counterspells and disruptive elements to keep the opponent off-balance while attacking in the air with your Faerie creatures. With the release of Wilds of Eldraine, the new cards compensate with the same strategy concept and adapt with new builds and mechanics such as Bargain.
Here in this video below is one Dimir Faeries deck that we are currently playtesting in Standard format, with the new support from Wilds of Eldraine.
