To start with the series of Standard deck brews with Magic 2020 Core Set, we take a look at the current tribal decks that might have fallen out of the spotlight of the metagame. In the past back in Ixalan Standard, we had Vampires, Elves and Merfolks as one of the recommended choices for aggro decks. Now, they reside as random deck matchups in Magic Arena or at your regular FNM tournament.

Today’s tribal deck feature is those pesky little critters that we see in movies like Lord of the Rings. Yes, the Goblins. The previous Core set 2019 has printed various Goblin cards (Goblin Instigator, Volley Veteran) and partnering them with the Goblins from the Dominaria set (Goblin Warchief, Goblin Chainwhirler, and Siege-gang Commander), a decent Goblin build has been completed.

The upcoming Magic 2020 Core set has printed and reprinted new gears for the archetype. The two relevant reprints are Ember Hauler and Goblin Ringleader. Mono-color would still be the best way to go for consistency of the curve. Here below is what I think the current deck build would look like.
