The printing of Errant & Giada in March of the Machines has got me thinking about what will be its probable deck in the current Magic: the Gathering Standard format. I’ve referenced that it will be an interesting archetype to work with.
Upon checking some probable card components, I have decided to go with Esper (a three-color combination in MTG that consists of white, blue, and black mana.) as its best colors. The best recipe for this deck build is a good mix of removal spells, counterspells, card draw, and utility creatures.
By playing creatures with Flash, you can hold up mana during your opponent’s turn to respond to their actions with counterspells and spot removal or cast spells at the end of their turn, gaining a tactical advantage.
