It was a while since I opened some Magic: the Gathering booster packs and the last time I did was when Strixhaven set was out and was included in our local game store preorder list. Back in the pre-pandemic days, I was fond of randomly opening booster packs every week during our Saturday Standard tournaments at Pro Rei’s Place. I test my luck and “God hands” every time and was rejoicing when I open a staple & money chase Mythic Rare.
Now, it is just by chance when I preorder a Set Booster Box or when I drop by Rei’s to check if he had onhand booster packs available. I usually go for the recent set for value and if there’s none at the local game store, I order from online stores I found at Shopee or Lazada. This one, for example, was the Strixhaven set booster packs I’ve ordered and probably my latest online booster pack purchase. Nothing too fancy in those opening though.
Now with the coming of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set, I have asked Rei is he had some preorders and he said yes. Set Boosters, Draft Boosters, and Collector Booster Box are the usual products hence, I ordered one AFR Set Booster Box. Hopefully, these products won’t encounter delay in the logistics distribution in the SEA region but given the history of the previous sets, I will not be surprised if they encounter it again. I am still going for a positive outcome with a crossed fingers.
Anywho, I will surely be having Booster pack opening content soon in this blog and on my Youtube channel so stay tuned for that one. Click like, subscribe, and on notifications for immediate updates on my blog. For now, let us just enjoy the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms card spoilers on various social media and websites.
Until the next blog post, ciao.
