The second Magic: the Gathering Iloilo Arena local tournament was concluded last Saturday with a lot of recognized Ilonggo players gaining the top slots. Basically, these are regulars in the local events scene but also gained top finishes in tournaments in Manila, and other areas of the country. They are continuously doing great in the current Standard format.

It was enjoyable watching the by-round Arena featured matches streamed online even if this time I was not part of the backstage crew because of the precautions on the pandemic. Anywho, I would still recognize it as a successful tournament even with only 10 players in attendance.
