For this update of the Magic: the Gathering Iloilo community, it was another jam packed weekend during the two tournaments at Rei’s Place. Friday saw 16 players in attendance even if most of the tournament regulars weren’t around.

This is good news as most of the new players are there to try out their builds. I was able to participate that time, playing Black Green Delirium but just finished short of the top 4 with a 2-2 record finish.

Saturday Standard was attended by 14 players. I just dropped by this time to check out the scenes and here are the pics I took during the course of the event.

Overall I am glad and happy of this consistent high attendance of the local tournaments. It makes me inspire more to bring back the City Champs this coming December. For tournament info and other related announcements, just check out our MtG Iloilo community page on FB.
