Hi guys. For a local tournament update, we will be having a big tourney at the AI Expo. The AniJou Iloilo Expo is the first ever cosplay event in Iloilo City. Quoting from the fan page, this event is said to gather the near and far otakus, cosplayers, artists, photographers, hobbyists, gamers and enthusiasts. In addition, this is to expose Ilonggos to this subculture.

The Mtg tourney details are as follows:

Date: May 19, 2012
Format: Standard Constructed, Top 8 playoffs
Reg: 150 php
Time: Registration starts 10am, Round 1 at 11am.
Prizes: Avacyn Restored Booster packs and foil promo cards.

Hopefully this event will get to introduce to new recruits and invite more players to the community. I’ll be posting any update on this tourney in the future.
