I was finally able to play my favorite tribe deck in Magic, Vampires. A big thanks and shoutout to my teammate and card pool buddy Ace for gathering the cards stocked at Raoul’s place and also buying the lacking card components. We based the list from the one that finished in first place in a major tournament online.  I recommended opening the deck for adjustments as the weekly metagame is shifting as always. As for the local tournament, we mostly recognize the decks that the regular players play and of course expecting them to be of the Tier 1 level.  

I played the deck last Saturday Standard and finished with a 3-1 record. Only one matchup with the mirror was the noticed power of the deck with having the ideal draw and curve. The rest were mostly mana screw and mana floods, given the 21 lands which I do not expect to be drawing more than the average number of lands.

Anyway, I am still happy with the results as we were able to complete a Tier 1 deck despite it expiring in about two months. I guess I will be piloting this archetype until the rotation.
